The things that we have around us become part of our lives. We can surround ourselves with mass-produced objects or we can live among meaning and aesthetics. A combination of function, design, materials, history, and craftsmanship produces a pleasing and deeper effect on our being than a sweat-shop or plastic piece of furniture. The object talks to us then and lives with us. It creates connections in our minds and hearts. In my work I strive for simplicity, harmony and health.
